NHPC Invites Bids for 19.20 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Haryana

NHPC has issued a tender for the selection of a developer for setting up grid-connected rooftop solar plants of a cumulative capacity of 19.20 MW at various locations on government buildings in Haryana on RESCO Mode through tariff-based competitive bidding. Bid submission ends on March 24, 2025.

NHPC has floated a tender for the selection of a developer for setting up grid-connected rooftop solar plants of a cumulative capacity of 19.20 MW at various locations on government buildings in Haryana on RESCO Mode through tariff-based competitive bidding.

The project must be completed in 9 months.

The bidders need to pay INR 5,000 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 1.30 crore as an earnest money deposit (EMD).

Bid submission starts on March 13, 2025, and ends on March 24, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on March 28, 2025.

The projects must use solar PV modules listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). Solar PV modules with a minimum capacity of 500 Wp are to be used. The PV module efficiency should be a minimum of 20 percent.

The bidder must have designed, supplied, erected and commissioned solar photo voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 40 kWp or more.

Alternatively, the bidder must be a developer of solar photo voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 40 kWp or more.

The reference SPV-based grid-connected power plant of 40 kWp or higher capacity must be at a single location developed by the bidder for itself or any other client.

Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last 10 years, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the process industry or in infrastructure development of a single work having a minimum value of INR 4 crore.

Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor which should be commissioned up to the last date of submission of bid.

As for financial eligibility, the average annual turnover in the preceding 3 years must not be less than INR 34.57 crore. The bidder must have a positive net worth in at least two financial years out of the last three financial years, with the condition of positive net worth in the immediately preceding financial year. The bidder must also possess a working capital of at least INR 19.20 crore.
