NHPC Invites Bids for 1098 kW Rooftop Solar Projects Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana
NHPC Ltd. has issued a tender for developing rooftop solar power projects totaling 1,098 kW across its Zone-IV (North East Power Stations) buildings under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Bid submission ends on January 15, 2025.

The project needs to be completed in 9 months. Further, the developer needs to provide 5 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.
The bidders need to pay INR 1,500 as the cost of the bid document. Further, they need to furnish INR 11.41 lakh as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is January 15, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 21, 2025.
The Bidder must have designed, supplied, erected and commissioned solar PV-based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 40 kWp or more.
Alternatively, the bidder should be a developer of solar PV-based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 40kWp or more.
Alternatively, the bidder should have executed in the last 10 years either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the process industry or in infrastructure development of a single work having a minimum value of INR 4 crore.
Additionally, the bidder should have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as developer or as EPC contractor which should be commissioned up to the last date of submission of bid.
Average annual turnover in the preceding 3 years shall be not less than INR 2.17 crore. Additionally, the bidder should have positive net worth in at least 2 financial years out of the last 3 financial years, with the condition of positive net worth in immediately preceding financial year. The working capital (current assets minus current liabilities) shall be minimum INR 1.21 crore.
