NFL Seeks Bidders for 1,500 kW Rooftop Solar Project in Panipat
National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has issued a call for expressions of interest (EOI) to pre-qualify lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) bidders for the development of a 1,500 kW grid-connected rooftop solar project at its Panipat facility.

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has issued a call for expressions of interest (EOI) to pre-qualify lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) bidders for the development of a 1,500 kW grid-connected rooftop solar project at its Panipat facility.
The scope of work for the project includes the design, detailed engineering, and supply of a complete rooftop solar system. This system will encompass all necessary components, such as solar modules, mounting structures, and inverters. The selected contractor will be responsible for procuring and supplying the required materials and equipment, as well as overseeing the construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and performance guarantee assurance of the system. Additionally, the contractor will be tasked with the operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar system for a period of five years.
All work and supplies must comply with the guidelines set by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency, the State Electricity Board, and the Central Electricity Authority Regulations. Bidders are also required to submit the model of solar modules and inverter control units for approval, following MNRE guideline
To qualify, bidders must be established LSTK contractors with a proven track record of completing similar projects within the last seven years. The scope of these completed projects should include design, supply, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, guarantee testing, and operation and maintenance of grid-interactive equipment. The proposed project must have an 80 percent rating of 1,500 kW or above and should have been operational for at least two years.
Financially, the bidder's average annual turnover over the last three years must be at least INR 21.5 million. Additionally, bidders must meet one of the following criteria: completion of a single order worth at least INR 57.4 million, two orders each worth at least INR 35.9 million, or three orders each worth at least INR 28.7 million.
The deadline for bid submissions is September 16, 2024, with the bid opening scheduled for September 17, 2024.
