NCC Infuses INR 70 Crore in its Arm NCC Quantum Technologies for AMISP Projects

NCC Ltd. has announced an equity investment of INR 70 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary, NCC Quantum Technologies, to support the execution of Advance Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) projects.

NCC Ltd. has announced an equity investment of INR 70 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary NCC Quantum Technologies for execution of Advance Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) projects.

“The cost of acquisition is INR 70 crore comprising 2,80,00,000 equity shares of INR 10 each at a premium of INR 15,” shared the company in a regulatory filing.

It further added that the indicative time period for completion of the acquisition is on or before March 31, 2025.

The company further clarified that there will be no change in the percentage of shareholding of the company in Quantum. It will continue to remain a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The transaction falls within the ambit of related party transaction and it’s done at arm’s length.

NCC operates in the infrastructure sector, specialising in the construction of industrial and commercial buildings, housing projects, roads, bridges, flyovers, water supply and environmental projects, mining, power transmission lines, and irrigation and hydrothermal power projects.

In the T&D segment, the company possesses expertise in design, engineering, erection, testing and commissioning of EHV/HV sub-stations and transmission lines, high voltage distribution systems, and feeder separation underground cable schemes.
