The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd. (MSPGCL) has invited online bids for the production and supply of Solar PV Modules with a capacity of 750 MWp for solar power projects across Maharashtra under the MSKVY 2.0 scheme.
The bidding process will be conducted through the Bharat Portal's E-Tendering website.
Key dates for the tender process have been outlined, with the start date for the acceptance of tender fees set for March 18, 2024, and the last date for the submission of online bids scheduled for May 3, 2024.
Prospective bidders are required to register on the Bharat Electronic Tender website, with a vendor registration fee of INR 25,000 plus GST, before the specified deadline. The registration fee is non-refundable.
To qualify for bidding, the bidder must meet certain criteria. Firstly, the bidder should have manufactured and supplied solar PV modules with a cumulative capacity of 40 MWp or above. Additionally, at least one supply order should be for a project of 10 MWp or above capacity, which must have been successfully operational for at least one year from the commercial operation date (COD).
Moreover, the bidder should be a Solar PV module manufacturer listed in the latest list of ALMM published by MNRE, with a fully automatic working solar PV module manufacturing facility.
Financial eligibility criteria include the net worth of the bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year, which should not be less than 100 percent of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.
However, if the bidder does not meet this criterion independently, it can fulfill the requirement based on the strength of its subsidiary(ies) and/or holding company and/or subsidiaries of its holding companies, ensuring that the combined net worth meets the specified threshold.
