MSpectrum Activates 726kW Solar Rooftop for Citizen Finedevice Philippines
MSpectrum activates a 726kW solar rooftop for Citizen Finedevice Philippines, generating 1.055 GWh annually and reducing carbon emissions by 751 metric tons, supporting sustainable operations and energy savings.

MSpectrum, the solar energy division of Meralco, has launched a 726 kW peak solar rooftop installation for Citizen Finedevice Philippines Corp. in Santo Tomas, Batangas. This facility is anticipated to generate approximately 1.055GWh of clean energy annually, reducing the company's carbon emissions by around 751 metric tons.
Dwelling on this, Patrick Henry Panlilio, COO of MSpectrum, stressed on the company's commitment to helping partners achieve sustainability and financial goals through their comprehensive solar energy services. He pledged ongoing support to Citizen Finedevice in its journey towards sustainability.
Citizen Finedevice, which manufactures precise metal-machined components, views this partnership as a key step in its green energy efforts, according to its president, Tomoya Koyama.
As per the firm, till June 2024, MSpectrum’s solar rooftop portfolio reached 70MW, with 98 per cent serving commercial and industrial clients. MSpectrum, supported by Meralco’s expertise, offers solutions to reduce electricity costs and promote sustainability. The firm revealed that most of its projects are within the Meralco franchise area in Luzon, with plans to expand to the Visayas and Mindanao.
