MSEB Solar Agro Power Initiates Tenders for 3,048 MW Solar Power Procurement Under PM-KUSUM

Maharashtra State Electricity Board's subsidiary, MSEB Solar Agro Power (MSAPL), has initiated 14 tenders to secure a total capacity of 3,048 MW solar power under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program, aimed at feeder-level solarization.
The deadline for bid submission is set for February 27, 2024, with the bids scheduled to be opened on the same day.
These tenders fall under Phase 2 of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana program, strategically allocating solar power projects across various locations in Maharashtra. These include Kolhapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Yavatmal, Satara, Sangli, Akola, Buldhana, Washim, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Jalna, Jalgaon, and Nanded.
Each project tender must constitute a cluster of units, with a minimum cumulative capacity requirement of 50 MW. The successful bidder will be responsible for securing funding and managing the entire lifecycle of the units, covering development, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
Bidders are required to adhere to a maximum tariff of INR 3.10/kWh at both the unit and project levels. Additionally, they must provide a processing fee of INR 2,500/MW and a document cost of INR 25,000. An earnest money deposit (EMD) of 100,000/MW of the quoted capacity is also mandatory.
