MP Government Allocates 442 Acres of Additional Land for RE Equipment Manufacturing
The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved expanding Industrial Area Mohasa-Babai in Narmadapuram to 884 acres, by allocating an additional 442 acres, to boost the manufacturing of electrical and renewable energy equipment.

The Madhya Pradesh government has approved the expansion of the area of Industrial Area Mohasa-Babai District Narmadapuram to promote the manufacturing of electrical and renewable energy equipment. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of the state’s Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
According to the decision, 442.04 acres of land of Industrial Area Mohasa-Babai has been added to the 441.96 acres area reserved for manufacturing of electric and renewable energy equipment.
“Now total area of the industrial park has become 884 acres. Similarly, facilities and allotment process approved for the industrial park were approved to be made available for the units to be set up under the revised area,” said a statement issued by the Department of Public Relations, Government of Madhya Pradesh
The cabinet also approved road construction works worth more than INR 2312 crore in Indore-Ujjain in view of the upcoming Simhastha-2028. “In this, Ujjain Simhastha bypass length 19.815 km, 4-lane with paved shoulder upgradation and construction work costing INR 701.86 crore were approved,” it noted.
Similarly, Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Road 4-lane with a paved shoulder length of 48.05 km and costing INR 1370.85 crore and Ingoria-Depalpur 2-lane with a paved shoulder road length of 32.60 km under Ujjain district worth INR 239.38 crore have been approved. All these roads will be developed through MP Road Development Corporation.
