MNRE invites proposals for “ Energy Efficient Solar/Green Buildings” for the year 2013-14

Program to promote the energy efficient solar/green buildings in the country

The Ministry of of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE) ,Govt. of India, is implementing a program on “Energy Efficient Solar/Green Buildings” which promote the energy efficient solar/green buildings in the country. Salient features of the program are:

1. Incentives for capacity building and awareness activities for promotion of Green Buildings

2. Awards to Urban Local Bodies

3. Awards to Architects/ Design consultants

4. Financial support for preparation of guidelines, case studies for green buildings rated under other prevalent rating system, popular literature/books on green buildings and retrofitting with renewable energy and energy efficiency interventions etc.

5. Incentives for renewable Energy projects installations.

Interested organization i.e. State Nodal Agencies/ Municipal Corporations / Govt. Bodies /reputed NGOs, technical institutions, Professionals consultants etc. can submit proposal under above provisions of the program. The proposal may be submitted to Director (Green Building), Ministry of New and Renewable
