Mahindra Susten, Avaada Energy, SAEL and Others Won Tender in RUVNL’s 1 GW Solar Power Projects

The winners will begin to deploy projects linked to the state transmission utility grid on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis.

Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam (RUVNL) has awarded contracts for the supply of 1 GW of power from state transmission utility (STU)-connected solar power projects in the state.

Mahindra Susten and Sunfree Energy (SAEL) each won 200 MW at a worth of INR 2.61/kWh.

Avaada Energy secured 200 MW at INR 2.62/kWh, whereas Solarcraft Power India (Blupine Energy) and Jakson won 150 MW and 100 MW respectively, both at a quoted worth of INR 2.61/kWh.

Shiva Corporation bagged 50 MW at INR 2.61/kWh and SJVN won 100 MW at a worth of INR 2.62/kWh out of the quoted capacity of 300 MW.

The tender winners will begin to deploy projects linked to the state transmission utility grid on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis.

A single tender must contain about 50 MW of capacity at the particular mentioned location and can only be stated in multiples of 10 MW.

RUVNL will come into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the producers or manufacturers.
