Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Inaugurates New EV Manufacturing Plant Unit in Telangana
This new facility will help in expansion of EVs not only in Telangana though all over the nation.

K T Rama Rao, Telangana Minister for Industries was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
M&M’s invested INR 1,000 crore in the establishment of manufacturing amenity in Zaheerabad, Telangana.
The amenity would also generate employment for 800 to 1,000 employees in the area.
Rama Rao stated that EVs are a focus area for the Telangana Government which is carried out to developing the proper infrastructure and ecosystem for the stimulation and deployment of electric vehicles.
This new facility will help in expansion of EVs not only in Telangana though all over the nation.
Suman Mishra, CEO, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility explained, "Mahindra Last Mile Mobility is at the forefront of India’s 3-wheeler electrification journey. I would like to thank the Government of Telangana for their proactiveness and ease of doing business policies under which Zaheerabad has been developed into one of the four mega EV manufacturing clusters. This facility will allow us to access state-of-the-art infrastructure available in the region."
The set-up of new amenity will provide the firm to target to construct revolutionary battery assembly line, generating power packs and manufacture electronic along with drivetrain components for electric 3- and 4-wheelers.
Last Mile Mobility (LMM) is the division of M&M is accountable for the firm’s conglomeration of electric, petrol, CNG, diesel last mile mobility 3- and 4-wheelers – passenger and cargo vehicles.
