KPI Green Energy Signs PPAs for 620 MW RE Projects with GUVNL
KPI Green Energy has signed two power purchase agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for 620 MW AC (917 MW DC) renewable energy projects, including a 250 MW solar project and a 370 MW hybrid renewable energy project.

KPI Green Energy Ltd. has signed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) for 620 MW AC (917 MW DC) renewable energy projects.
The first PPA is for a 250 MW AC (275 MW DC) grid-connected solar photovoltaic power project and the second PPA is for a 370 MW AC (642 MW DC) grid-connected Hybrid RE power project, the company shared in a regulatory filing.
The projects have been bagged through competitive bidding processes.
“We are proud to contribute to the nation’s transition to environment-friendly and sustainable renewable energy, reinforcing and accelerating our commitment to achieve our ambitious target of 10 GW capacity by 2030,” the company shared.
KPI Green Energy is a Gujarat-based solar and hybrid power generating company. Incorporated in 2008, the company develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains solar and hybrid power plants as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and as a service provider to Captive Power Producers (CPP) under the brand name ‘Solarism'.
