KPI Green Energy Reports 40.6 Percent Revenue Growth to INR 466.1 Crore in Q3 FY 2024-25

KPI Green Energy Ltd. has announced robust financial performance in the third quarter of FY 2024-2025, achieving its highest-ever turnover for the third consecutive quarter.
The company reported a 40.6 percent increase in total revenue, reaching INR 466.1 crore compared to INR 331.33 crore in Q3 FY 2023-2024. EBITDA grew by 38 percent, amounting to INR 144.54 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) surged 60.16 percent to INR 114.94 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) showed a significant 68.26 percent increase, reaching INR 85.15 crore.
The firm stated in its filing that this remarkable growth reflects the company's strategic market position, operational efficiency, and successful execution of its growth initiatives.
For the nine months ending December 31, 2024, KPI Green Energy achieved a 59.5 percent increase in revenue, totalling INR 1,177.35 crore, surpassing the previous year’s annual revenue of INR 1,030.82 crore. EBITDA for the nine-month period grew by 66 percent, reaching INR 411.44 crore, exceeding last year’s total annual EBITDA of INR 343.76 crore. The company also reported a 93 percent increase in PBT, reaching INR 302.2 crore, surpassing the total PBT of INR 217.02 crore for FY 2023-24. PAT showed an 86 percent growth, reaching INR 221.1 crore, exceeding the previous year's annual PAT of INR 161.66 crore.
During the quarter, KPI Green Energy secured several significant contracts, including a 300 MWAC ground-mounted solar PV power plant with Coal India Ltd., contributing to CIL’s renewable energy diversification strategy. The company also continued advancing its technological infrastructure, further developing its Network Operating Centre (NOC) to enhance the efficiency of renewable assets through a Centralised Monitoring System (CMS). KPI Green Energy commenced work on a 100 MWAC solar project awarded by Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. (MAHAGENCO) and signed MoUs with the governments of Rajasthan and Odisha for the development of hybrid, solar, and wind power projects. Additionally, the 240 MW DC Khavda Solar Project is progressing ahead of schedule, integrating cutting-edge technologies and promising significant local employment opportunities.
Also, during the meeting, the Board of Directors of the company considered and declared a Third Interim Dividend of 4 percent, amounting to INR 0.20 (Twenty Paisa Only) per equity share of INR 5 each, for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for the dividend payment is set for February 18, 2025, and the dividend will be paid within 30 days from the declaration to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as of the record date.
