KP Energy Commissions 25.8 MW Wind Power Projects at Bharuch, Gujarat
Gujarat-based KP Energy has commissioned a 25.8 MW wind power project at Vagra, Bharuch, under its IPP segment, bringing its total independent power producer capacity to 45.7 MW.

Gujarat-based wind energy company KP Energy, a part of KP Group, has announced that the company has announced the commissioning of a 25.8 MW wind power project under the IPP segment of the company.
“Out of the total project capacity of 28.6 MW, KP Energy has successfully commissioned 25.8 MW wind power project consisting of 11 wind turbine generators, at the Vagra Site in Bharuch,” the company informed in a regulatory filing.
It further informed that the development work for the remaining 2.8 MW capacity is under progress and is expected to be commissioned within this month.
With this successful commissioning, the company’s total independent power producer (IPP) capacity now stands at 45.7 MW.
“This achievement reflects our commitment to accelerating renewable energy growth and contributing to India’s clean energy transition,” it said.
The company provides EPC services and O&M services in the wind sector, besides its own IPP projects.
In January 2025, the company commissioned 6.3 MW (Phase-XI) of its ISTS-connected wind power project at Sidhpur, Devbhoomi Dwarka, as part of a 250.8 MW capacity project awarded to Apraava Energy under SECI’s Tranche-VIII bidding. It further added that with the present Phase-XI commissioning, the net cumulative capacity commissioned at the Sidhpur site stands at 252 MW.
