Kosol Energie Secures 400 MW Module Supply Order for NTPC’s 1.6 GW Khavda Solar Project

Kosol Energie secured a 400 MW PV module supply order through Zetwerk, as part of NTPC’s broader 1,515 MWp PV module procurement initiative for the Khavda Solar Project.

Kosol Energie has been qualified as a Category-1 Prime Supplier for the 1.6 GW Khavda Solar Project by NTPC. The company secured a 400 MW photovoltaic (PV) module supply order through Zetwerk, as part of NTPC’s broader 1,515 MWp PV module procurement initiative for the project located in Gujarat.

Kosol Energie’s modules, known for their high efficiency and durability, are tailor-made for the harsh climatic conditions of the Khavda region. The supplied 550W bifacial modules, designed for tracker-mounted systems, promise enhanced energy yield and operational efficiency. 

Backed by rigorous in-house testing facilities and quality standards, the modules comply with MNRE, BIS, and ALMM norms, backing the company’s commitment to India’s self-reliant solar manufacturing vision.

To meet growing demand, Kosol Energie has ramped up its production capacity to 3.1 GW at its fully automated manufacturing facility. The company has already commissioned 2.2 GW of solar installations across residential, commercial, and industrial segments in India, the USA, Europe, and Africa, solidifying its global footprint.
