Juniper Green Energy Signs PPA to Set Up 1 GW RE Capacity

This 25-year PPA, secured at a tariff of INR 4.38 with state utility SJVN reinforces its commitment to sustainable energy and strategic goals for growth.
Touted as the firm’s single largest project execution to date, this PPA propels Juniper Green Energy’s operational and under construction capacity to an impressive 2.5 GW.
With this PPA, the company ventures into more complex and technical solutions to provide firm and dispatchable renewable energy with energy storage and hybrid power projects.
Through this project, Juniper Green Energy anticipates an annual generation of 2,179 MU, which will offset approximately 20,41,811 tonnes of CO2 annually.
Such initiatives are expected to significantly enhance the energy access for approximately 4.34 lakh households, fostering substantial community development and supporting regional sustainability efforts.
Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, commented on the achievement, stated, "This 1 GW PPA with SJVN demonstrates our capability to undertake and successfully deliver large-scale, impactful hybrid projects, combining solar, wind and battery storage, that drive the national agenda for a sustainable future."
