JSW Renew Energy Inks Pact with SECI for 300 MW Wind Project in Maharashtra
The company signed a power purchase agreement for providing power for 25 years with a tariff of INR 2.94 per kilowatt. Located in Maharashtra, the ISTS connected projects are expected to be commissioned in next 24 months.

JSW Energy has inked a pact with Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) for wind projects totalling 300 MW. The company signed a power purchase agreement for providing power for 25 years with a tariff of INR 2.94 per kilowatt (KWh). Located in Maharashtra, the ISTS connected projects are expected to be commissioned in next 24 months.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy, JSW Renew Energy, has signed PPA with SECI for 300 MW wind projects awarded under SECI Tranche-XII. JSW Energy has a total locked-in capacity of 9.9 GW and aims to reach 10 GW and 20 GW by 2025 and 2030 respectively.
Earlier this year, JSW Renew Energy Ltd. received letters of award for 500 MW/1,000 MWH standalone battery energy storage systems from SECI. The company has locked in 3.4 GWh of energy storage capacity through battery energy storage system and hydro pumped storage project.
