Jindal Steel and ReNew's 300 MW Hybrid Energy Project Expected to Start from 2024

Jindal Stainless Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal, came in alliance with ReNew for 300 MW hybrid project is expected to move to operate over the next 18 months.
In December 2022, Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) partnered with ReNew to develop the proposed 300 MW hybrid energy project.
Jindal said, “These green initiatives are part of our mission to switch from a thermal energy-intensive manufacturing setup to renewable energy alternatives”.
He also stated that various operations at stainless steel manufacturing amenities will avail the energy generated by the solar, wind, and hydrogen units.
As per Jindal statement, JSL reduce its carbon discharge by 1.4 lakh tonnes in fiscal year 2022 and plans to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
The MD anticipated the firm's hydrogen project the time frame that venture will begin in July this year.
