Jinchen to Supply 3.2 GW High-Speed Advanced Solar Module Production Line to Future Solar

Solar module manufacturing equipment specialist Yingkou Jinchen Machinery (Jinchen) and Future Solar have entered into a partnership wherein Jinchen will supply 3.2 GW of high-speed advanced solar module production line to support the latter’s expansion plans.

Solar module manufacturing equipment specialist Yingkou Jinchen Machinery (Jinchen) and Gujarat-based PV module manufacturer Future Solar have finalised a partnership for the supply of solar module manufacturing line.

As part of the agreement, Jinchen will supply 3.2 GW of high-speed advanced solar module manufacturing line to Future Solar by the end of this year. The manufacturing line is expected to commence production in January 2025.

This collaboration is a crucial part of Future Solar’s expansion plan to produce multiple gigawatts of solar modules.

“We are honoured to be a part of Future Solar’s journey towards becoming a leading manufacturer in the industry. The advanced manufacturing lines will be delivered by the end of this year and production will commence in January 2025,” said Vikas Singh, General Manager – Global Business at Yingkou Jinchen Machinery.

He further added that after thorough discussions, Jinchen has developed a customised line that will not only fulfil Future Solar’s production capacity goals but also exceed expectations in terms of efficiency and quality.

Jinchen is a market leader in the photovoltaic module equipment industry, and has also become one of the world's leading practitioners of ‘Industry 4.0’. With a great deal of focus on research and development, innovation and efficiency enhancement, Jinchen has made breakthroughs in the solar industry’s latest advanced cell technologies including TOPCON, PERTOP and HJT PECVD product development.

Earlier this year, Jinchen Machinery reached a milestone by installing 44 GW of solar capacity in India. And, this new collaboration further highlights Jinchen's dedication to advancing solar energy and underlines India's rapid progress towards establishing itself as a global powerhouse in solar module manufacturing. “We are excited to witness the outcomes of this partnership with Future Solar,” added Singh.
