Jammu and Kashmir Invites Bids for Consultants to Implement Solar and RE Projects

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory (UT) is inviting online bids from eligible tenders for the involvement of consultants to monitor and manage the execution of Solar Power and Other Renewable Energy (RE) Projects/Schemes in the area.

The bidding procurement process follows a Two-Cover system and is maintained through e-tendering.

The request for selection (RfS) of tenders delineates the essential criteria and technical provisions for the projects. Interested contractors can access the complete bidding document, containing qualifying information, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, the bill of quantities (BOQ), terms and conditions of the contract, and other required descriptions.

The available period for the bid document online is from August 18, 2023, to September 12, 2023.

Bid submission finalises on September 12, 2023, followed by the opening of the Technical Bids on September 13, 2023.

Bidders are needed to pay a non-refundable cost of INR 20,000 for the bid document through e-transfer to CEO JAKEDA’s account.

Moreover, tenders who aimed to qualify for the project must submit an earnest money deposit worth INR 20,00,000 in the form of a Bank Guarantee committed to the CEO of J&K Energy Development Agency.

This earnest money deposit will be valid for 12 months from the completion of bids. The offer’s validity tenure of 36 months from the conclusion of the tender.
