Jaipur Discom Invites Bids for 101 MW Solar Plants Under PM KUSUM Component A
Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam has invited expressions of interest for setting up decentralised solar power plants of 0.5 MW to 2 MW capacity with a cumulative capacity of 101.15 MW through RESCO mode under the Component A of PM-KUSUM Scheme. Bid submission ends on March 26, 2025.

Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JVVNL) has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from eligible bidders for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 101.15 MW grid-connected solar power plants through RESCO mode under the Component A of PM-KUSUM Scheme.
Bidders need to set up decentralised solar power plants of 0.5 MW to 2 MW capacity to be connected on 33/11 kV Substations identified by the Jaipur Discom.
The projects must be completed in 9 months. Bidders also need to provide operation and maintenance of the plants for 25 years.
Bidders need to pay INR 5,000 as a tender fee document and another INR 2950 as a processing fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 1 lakh/MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Selected bidders will be required to submit PBG at INR 1 lakh/MW for the bidded solar PV capacity.
The last date for the submission of bids is March 26, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on March 28, 2025.
The electricity produced under the said scheme will be purchased by JVVNL at the levelised cost of INR 3.04/kWh for the period of 25 years. The PPA will be signed with RUVITL on behalf of JVVNL.
ALMM shall be applicable for the installation and commissioning of the solar power plants under Component A of the PM-KUSUM Scheme.
The projects will be installed by farmers on their own land, either independently or in collaboration with a group of farmers, cooperatives, farmer-producer organizations, panchayats, or developers.
Bidders must furnish an undertaking that they have their own requisite land or undertaken farmers' land on lease for the period of at least 26 years for the installation of offered capacity of solar PV plant and also have financial tie-up/funds for the development of solar PV plant of offered capacity.
