ITI Invites Bids for 738,000 Polycrystalline Solar Cells Totalling 2.64 MW Capacity
ITI Ltd. has issued a tender for procuring 738,000 polycrystalline solar cells, with a 5BB design and a minimum power output of 3.58 Wp totalling approximately 2.64 MW capacity. Bid submission ends on January 10, 2025.

The delivery of solar cells will be split into three lots. The first lot is required to be delivered within 30 days of purchase order issuance.
Bidders must submit EMD at a rate of 2 percent of tender value up to a maximum INR 5 lakh before due date of the tender.
Successful bidder must submit balance amount of security deposit at the rate of 5 percent of order value up to a maximum of INR 10 lakh before placement of PO.
The last date for submission of bids is January 20, 2025, till 10:30 AM. Bids will be opened on the same date at 11:00 AM.
Supplies must be from the latest production batch, with labelled batch numbers, and pass final inspection at ITI’s premises.
The tender also mandates compliance with environmental standards aligned with ITI’s ISO 14001 certification. Registered micro, small, and medium enterprises are eligible for preferential benefits upon submitting valid documentation.
Vendors must give consent to sign the pre-contract Integrity pact. “Integrity pact has to be signed with the qualified bidder immediately after placement of PO. Those bidders who are not willing to sign Integrity pact will not be considered for bid processing,” noted the tender document.
