ISMA to Host 2nd Edition of ‘The India Sugar & Bio-Energy Conference’ in New Delhi

The second edition of the conference will be inaugurated by Pralhad Joshi (Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New & Renewable Energy, Government of India).

The Indian Sugar & Bio-Energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA) is all set to host the 2nd edition of ‘The India Sugar & Bio-Energy Conference’ on 26th & 27th September at JW Marriott, Aerocity in New Delhi.

In collaboration with the Government of India (GOI) and the International Sugar Organisation (ISO), this year’s theme, 'Harmonising Sweet Sustainability: Navigating India’s Path to a Green Economy’, will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders to drive dialogue, innovation, and collaboration for sustainable growth and development of the sugar and bio-energy industries.
 
The second edition of the conference will be inaugurated by Shri Pralhad Joshi (Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New & Renewable Energy, Government of India). The inauguration ceremony will also witness Deepak Ballani (Director General of ISMA) delivering a Vote of Thanks and officially launching ISMA Times - the apex body's dedicated magazine that will capture all the major happenings and lead you to the future of the sugar and bio-energy industry. 


Key conference sessions to watch include ‘Global Sugar Production - S&D Dynamics,’ which will highlight market trends and export opportunities; ‘Optimising Sugarcane Production in India,’ focusing on dispelling myths and enhancing yields through support and innovation; ‘Ethanol - Production, Distribution, & Consumption,’ discussing infrastructure readiness and India’s E100 journey; ‘Integrating Sustainability into Sugar Production,’ exploring innovative sustainability strategies; and ‘Data Analytics & AI for Production Forecast and Mill Strategies,’ which will examine how data analytics can enhance forecasting and yield prediction in sugarcane production.
