International Women’s Day: Celebrating Women’s Impact on India’s Clean Energy Revolution

India's going big on clean energy, and women are a huge part of that change. Even though they make up about 32 percent of the renewable energy workforce globally and 11 percent in India, they're pushing new ideas, getting policies changed, and leading clean energy projects.

Happy International Women's Day! Energetica India wants to give a shout-out to all the awesome women making moves in renewable energy and e-mobility sector.

They're pushing for a greener and fairer energy future for everybody. India's going big on clean energy, and women are a huge part of that change. Even though they make up about 32 percent of the renewable energy workforce globally and 11 percent in India, they're pushing new ideas, getting policies changed, and leading clean energy projects. They're changing things up and setting a high bar.

Having more women in renewable energy isn't just about looking fair. It's about getting the most out of everyone's abilities, which can boost India's goal of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel by 2030. Some studies say that if we had 30 percent women in the field, we could create millions of more jobs. From science and tech grads to entrepreneurs, women are super important for bringing new ideas and making sure everyone's voice is heard. Programs and fair hiring are helping to build a more inclusive workforce.

Let's appreciate these strong, dedicated women who are making big changes. Their stories prove that diversity is key to new ideas and sustainability. As we work toward a cleaner future, their work will be vital in making renewable energy better for everyone. So, on this International Women's Day, Energetica India is giving a big thanks to these amazing women for their hard work. Let's keep breaking down walls, creating an inclusive environment, and helping more women lead the way to a sustainable tomorrow.
