Inox Wind Secures 150 MW Order from NTPC Renewable

To be implemented in Gujarat, the order contains supply and establishment of existing and new technology, and operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the project.

The company’s wind energy solutions caterer Inox Wind has procured a 150 MW project from NTPC Renewable Energy, an entire subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy of NTPC.

To be implemented in Gujarat, the order contains supply and establishment of existing and new technology, and operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the project.

The latest order adds Inox Wind’s overall from NTPC to 550 MW.

Inox Wind CEO Kailash Tarachandani stated, “cultivate a long-term partnership with NTPC”.

He also observed that this project will facilitate the expansion of Inox Wind's O&M fleet, increasing total profitability.

The release further added that Inox Wind is “strategically positioned to thrive and contribute significantly to India's renewable energy goals”.

India has put objective for renewable energy, target to achieve 175 GW by 2022 and 450 GW by 2030.

The company marks a crucial order which makes it a major player in the industry since facilitator of all-inclusive solutions throughout the wind power value chain.

Inox Wind is a totally consolidated entity in the wind energy market with available in three manufacturing plants in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh (blades and tubular towers), and Himachal Pradesh (hubs and nacelles).

It produces key components of wind turbine generators (WTGs) with the production capacity of 1,600 MW annually.
