Inox Wind Procures 100 MW Wind Power Project from ABEnergia Renewables in Gujarat

Under the agreement, Inox Wind will focus on all-inclusive multi-year operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the project.

Inox Wind Ltd has received an order for a 100 MW wind power project from ABEnergia Renewables Pvt Ltd (ABEnergia).

Kailash Tarachandani, CEO of Inox Wind, explained, “This order re-emphasises not only the credentials of Inox Wind Limited as the leading wind energy solutions provider but also of the strong tailwinds that the sector is witnessing.”

He further added, “This also paves the way for a strong growth trajectory that we have chartered out for us. I firmly believe that with the impetus in the sector and combined with our latest 3.3MW offering, IWL should grow manyfold from here on”.

The company will be accountable for the supply and installation of 3.3 MW wind turbine generators with a rotor diameter of 145 m and a hub height of 120 m.

The project comprising the 220 KV pooling substation located at the Dayapar site in Gujarat's Kutch district, will be run on a turnkey basis and is anticipated to be commissioned by 2024.

In addition, under the agreement, Inox Wind will focus on all-inclusive multi-year operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the project.

Inox Wind is a completely amalgamated player in the wind energy market with a cumulative generating capacity of 1,600 MW.
