Jaipur-based Insolation Green Energy (INA Solar) has announced that the company plans to set up plants for 3 GW solar cells, 4 GW of solar modules and 24,000 MT aluminium frame in Madhya Pradesh. The company plans to invest approximately INR 1,800 crore in this project.
This will be INA Solar’s fourth manufacturing facility and its first outside of Rajasthan and will be executed in two phases.
The company has been allocated 45 acres of land in the Mohasa-Babai industrial area of Narmadapuram district.
This expansion will significantly bolster the company’s presence and capabilities in renewable energy manufacturing. “Upon completion, this facility is expected to generate over 1,600 direct and indirect employment opportunities, thereby contributing to regional development and the renewable energy sector's growth,” the company shared in an exchange filing.
The company has recently completed a preferential allotment of INR 400 crore. The company further shared that the work of setting up the company’s third manufacturing facility is under full swing to enhance the solar module manufacturing capacity from 1 GW to 4 GW by April 2025 and the Aluminum frame manufacturing facility 12,000 MT.
