INA Solar Sees Strong Response at REI Expo 2024, Plans 3 GW Panel and 1.5 GW Cell Capacity Expansion
INA Solar received positive reception from developers, industrialists, end-users, and investors, at the REI Expo 2024. The company also announced its plans to expand its solar panel capacity by 3 GW and solar cell capacity to 1.5 GW.

Insolation Energy Ltd. (INA Solar) has announced that the company has garnered an overwhelming response at the Renewable Energy India Expo 2024, held in Greater Noida.
The INA Solar booth was inaugurated by Rajasthan’s Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar. Other notable attendees at the event included Insolation Energy’s Chairman Manish Gupta and Managing Director Vikas Jain, Rajasthan Solar Association President Sunil Bansal and other distinguished team members.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta emphasised INA Solar's commitment to India’s energy transition. Since 2017, the company has been a key player in solar panel manufacturing in Rajasthan and a vital contributor to the nation’s green energy goals. He highlighted that INA Solar is aligned with the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, contributing to energy security not only in Rajasthan but across India.
He further asserted that INA Solar is ranked among the top 10 solar panel manufacturers in India and is listed on the BSE SME Board. Its products are certified by prominent national and international standards such as IEC, ALMM, and BIS.
“The company actively supports various government-led solar initiatives, including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Kusum Scheme (A/B/C), BSNL projects, and the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana,” he added.
Currently, INA Solar boasts a production capacity of 1,000 MW for solar panels. Over the next six months, the company plans to significantly expand, adding new manufacturing units with capacities of 3 GW for solar panels, 1.5 GW for solar cells, and 12,000 MT for aluminium frames, positioning itself as a key contributor to India’s renewable energy ambitions.
