IEW 2025 Set to Host Key Global Energy Leaders, Showcasing India's Energy Leadership
India Energy Week 2025, set for February 11-14 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, will be the second-largest global energy event. With significant growth in exhibition space, sessions, and participation, it will focus on energy security, clean cooking solutions, and innovation.

India Energy Week (IEW) 2025, set to take place from February 11-14, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, will be the second-largest energy event globally in terms of participation, exhibition space, and sessions.
This was revealed by Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, while speaking to the media in Mumbai. He further informed that the event will span over 1 lakh square meters, featuring 700+ exhibitors, 105 conference sessions, 500+ speakers, and over 70,000 delegates. Notable participants will include over 20 foreign energy ministers, ambassadors, and 90 CEOs from Fortune 500 companies, highlighting India's growing influence in global energy discussions.
The event has witnessed substantial growth as compared to last year. IEW 2025 will feature a 65 percent expansion in exhibition space, increasing from 17,000 sqm in 2024 to 28,000 sqm. The number of exhibitors will rise by 57 percent, from 445 to over 700, and the conference will host 105 sessions, marking a 15 percent growth from last year’s 91. Delegate attendance is expected to surge by 55 percent, reaching over 70,000.
The event will feature more than 500 speakers and 10+ country pavilions, including from the U.S., UK, Japan, and Germany, as well as eight thematic zones focused on hydrogen, renewables, biofuels, and petrochemicals.underscoring India's leadership in energy solutions.
A significant feature of IEW 2025 will be the 'Clean Cooking Ministerial,' held on the sidelines of the event. This initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of clean cooking solutions worldwide, with India's highly successful Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) serving as a model for global energy access solutions. Additionally, the event will showcase 10 country pavilions,
The event will also see increased youth engagement, with participation from leading IITs, 500 students from Delhi/NCR, and startup platforms like Avinya and Vasudha. Over 2,700 abstracts have been received, marking a 35 percent increase from last year, and 217 technical sessions are planned.
The event will be a hub for discussions on critical themes such as energy security, just energy transitions, collaboration, resilience, innovation, and digital advancements, positioning India at the forefront of the global energy transition.
