Photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions provider IBC Solar AG has introduced the new version of its planning tool named ‘PV Manager’ for grid-connected PV systems in the residential and commercial sectors.

The company has made enhancements in the user interface for more intuitive operation of PV Manager, and is now available as a download version providing new options for flexible access.

As a comprehensive software program, it offers a wide spectrum of functions for planning, selling and processing in one system. It assists installers through all projects – from customer inquiry, through quotation and order, to commissioning.

The proven software has been re-designed thoroughly so that PV installers can now benefit from an even more reliable and faster performing platform that also offers maximum flexibility in operation.

The planning tool now runs as a stand-alone, cloud-based program that is independent of browsers, which gives installers easy, secure and fast access from anywhere and at any time.

Moreover, the software has been tailored to the needs of PV professionals and based on the experience of installers, automatic updates ensure that the software is always up to date.

Besides, the planning tool has also been capable of creating a comprehensive self-consumption analysis, taking into account various parameters such as e-mobility or storage systems as well as a profitability calculation, which the installer can send to his customer with a single click of a button.
