Hyundai and Shell Ink MoA to Augment Charging Network for EVs
Under the agreement, the two companies have associated to establish 60 kW DC Fast Chargers throughout 36 EV dealerships of Hyundai Motor India.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) and Shell India have inked a Memorandum of Agreement to collaborate in the augmentation of the charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the nation.
Under the agreement, the two companies have associated to establish 60 kW DC Fast Chargers throughout 36 EV dealerships of Hyundai Motor India.
Besides this, in view of the feasibility of the company, Shell is also going to establish more powerful DC 120 kW fast chargers in the dealerships instead of the 60 kW ones.
To this culmination, the two entities inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) at HMIL's headquarters in Gurugram, Haryana in the presence of their senior management.
Hyundai has also set up its own charging management system (CMS) which will serve all EV owners regardless of brand.
The CMS can assist EV owners to situate the nearest charging station and make payments for the service.
Hyundai's plans for India state that both companies are upgrading customer convenience and to this end, and to abide by the strategic partnerships that are constant with the government's vision of clean mobility.
The partnership of Shell and Hyundai is critical to augmenting the EV ecosystem and the adoption of electric vehicles by huge number of customers.
