HPGRE Renewable and Green Energy Limited (HPRGE) has announced a tender for the development of 600 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across six Indian states: Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

The official tender document outlines that HPGRE has identified land acquisition as a critical component of the project. Consequently, the scope of the tender includes identifying and arranging the necessary land, as well as the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, and commissioning of an Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission system up to the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) substation.

The project will span approximately 2400 acres of land and is divided into two schedules of 300 MW each, covering around 1200 acres per schedule. Bidders are required to quote for at least one schedule, though they may bid for both if they meet the pre-qualification criteria (PQC). Bidders opting for both schedules can either concentrate their efforts at a single location or across two different locations. Each project must be distinctly identifiable with separate injection points and metering arrangements.

The scope of work also includes three years of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for the transmission system and EHV bays at the ISTS substation. Bidders must arrange land for the solar project for no less than 29 years and 11 months from the date of allotment to HPGRE. The land can be leasehold government land, private land, or a combination of both, provided it offers a contiguous land parcel at one location. The proposed land parcel should be secured through lease or sublease for 30 years for 1200 acres.

Additionally, the Right of Way (ROW) for the EHV transmission system from the solar plant to the point of grid interconnection for 29 years and 11 months from the date of solar project land allotment to HPGRE, including all necessary documentation, financial transactions, and compensation, falls under the bidder's responsibilities.

To provide further details and address queries, a pre-tender meeting will be held via video conference at 11:00 AM on June 21, 2024. Interested parties are encouraged to attend this session to gain a deeper understanding of the project requirements and scope.
