Honeywell and Petronas Collaborate to Focus on Sustainability Solutions

Honeywell and Petronas have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on sustainability solutions in industrial automation, process technologies, and plant digitalisation, and in achieving carbon-neutral energy projects in Malaysia.
 
Honeywell Vice President of Global High Growth Regions and President of ASEAN, Norm Gilsdorf, and Petronas Senior Vice President (SVP) of Project Delivery & Technology (PD&T), Bacho Pilong signed the MoU on the sidelines of the biennial Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia).
 
Honeywell is a pioneering force in the industrial automation software, solutions, and analytics and ecosystem for plant digitalization, connected plant programs, and cybersecurity solutions.
 
The collaboration with Honeywell will provide Petronas with breakthrough solutions in four key areas: sustainability and emissions management, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and leadership and capability management. Through these solutions, Petronas aims to support its growth strategy and low-carbon agenda by employing proven technologies by Honeywell for carbon capture and utilization, productivity, storage of energy, and digital twins.
