Hetvi Construction Secures INR 740.07 Crore EPC Order for 125 MW AC Solar Project in Assam

Ahmedabad-based Hetvi Construction Ltd. has secured an INR 740.07 crore EPC order from Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) to develop a 125 MW AC solar PV power plant in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district, marking its entry into large-scale solar EPC projects.

Ahmedabad-based Hetvi Construction Ltd. has secured an INR 740.07 crore EPC order from Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) for setting up a 125 MW AC Solar PV Power Plant in Karbi Anglong district of Assam. The company aims to achieve the 1,000 MW renewable energy milestone.

Hetvi Construction is responsible for the complete EPC execution, including design, engineering, procurement, erection, and commissioning. Land acquisition and connectivity requirements are managed in collaboration with stakeholders.

The project is planned for execution on a turnkey basis. “Timelines will be shared as per project execution within 1 year,” stated the company.

It further added, “We have partnered with Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. and Jayantisuper Construction Pvt. Ltd. for this project. We are also in discussions with key module and inverter suppliers for strategic procurement.”

Hetvi Construction Ltd. was originally established as Hetvi Construction LLP in 2017 and was later converted into a Limited Company on April 15, 2024. As specialists in the field of construction, Hetvi Construction, under the leadership of Hitesh Bhuva and Tarang Savaliya, focuses on delivering high-quality and cost-effective projects across multiple sectors. Their expertise extends to areas such as water supply, sewerage networks, stormwater management, underground pipeline works, and irrigation networks.

Now, the company has forayed into the large-scale solar EPC segment with this project. “While this is our first large-scale solar EPC project, Hetvi Construction has extensive experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in water supply schemes under Jal Jeewan Mission across multiple districts in India. We are expanding into the renewable energy sector with a long-term focus on sustainability,” said the company.

On the expansion plans in the renewable energy domain, the company revealed, “We are actively exploring multiple renewable energy projects in India and expanding our presence in the solar EPC space. Further details on upcoming projects will be shared soon.”

It further asserted that Hetvi Construction aims to become a key player in India’s renewable energy sector, focusing on large-scale solar, hybrid energy solutions, and sustainable infrastructure development.
