Hero MotoCorp Reports INR 10,211 Crore Revenue in Q3 FY’25, 12 Percent PAT Growth

Hero MotoCorp, a manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has announced its financial results for the third quarter of FY’25 (Oct-Dec’24), with a revenue of INR 10,211 crore, marking a 5 percent growth compared to the same period last year.
As per the firm's statement, the company sold 14.64 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters, a slight increase from 14.60 lakh units in Q3 FY’24. EBITDA for the quarter rose by 8 percent to INR 1,476 crore, while Net Profit After Tax (PAT) increased by 12 percent to INR 1,203 crore.
For the first nine months of FY’25 (April-Dec’24), Hero MotoCorp sold 45.19 lakh units, generating INR 30,818 crore in revenue, up 10 percent from the previous year. EBITDA grew by 14 percent to INR 4,452 crore, and PAT rose by 20 percent to INR 3,529 crore.
The company’s revenue from operations for the quarter surpassed INR 10,000 crore for the third consecutive quarter, with an EBITDA margin of 14.5 percent. Consolidated revenue for Q3 FY’25 stood at INR 10,260 crore, with PAT reaching INR 1,108 crore.
Hero MotoCorp has declared an interim dividend of 5000 percent, i.e., INR 100 per equity share with a nominal value of INR. 2 each for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for determining entitlement is set for February 12, 2025, and the dividend payment or dispatch of warrants will be completed by March 8, 2025.
The company gained market share in the 100cc and 125cc segments, driven by models like the Splendor, Xtreme 125R, and Super Splendor. It also recorded its highest-ever quarterly retail sales, supported by strong festive demand. Hero MotoCorp’s electric vehicle division, VIDA, achieved its highest-ever monthly retail sales, expanding its market share.
On the global front, the company saw growth in Bangladesh and Colombia. At the Bharat Mobility 2025 event, Hero MotoCorp launched new products to strengthen its presence in the premium and scooter segments. The company also unveiled new motorcycles, including the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and Karizma XMR 250, along with the VIDA Z electric scooter.
Hero MotoCorp has committed an investment of up to INR 5.15 crore for a Solar Power Wheeling project at its Dharuhera and Gurugram plants, which will be executed under the Group Captive mechanism in partnership with CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions.
The company also extended its brand presence with the opening of over 50 Hero Premia Stores across India and introduced the Hero For Startups (HFS) accelerator program. Hero MotoSports secured a historic victory at the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) 2024, becoming the first Indian manufacturer to win an FIM world title.
Vivek Anand, CFO of Hero MotoCorp, highlighted the company’s record revenue and profits. He expressed confidence that the newly launched products would further strengthen its market position, while the Union Budget 2025’s focus on infrastructure, tax relief, and agricultural support would boost consumer confidence and demand in the auto industry.
