Haryana Police Housing Corporation Issues Tender to Solarise Police Stations
Haryana Police Housing Corporation has issued a tender for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic grid-connected rooftop power plant at various buildings in police lines and police stations in Karnal, Kaithal and Panipat district of Haryana. Bid submission ends on January 21, 2025.

Haryana Police Housing Corporation has floated a tender for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic grid-connected rooftop power plant at various buildings in police lines and police stations in Karnal, Kaithal and Panipat district of Haryana.
The estimated value of the tender is about INR 81.33 lakh.
Bidders need to pay INR 5,000 as a bid document fee. Further, they need to pay an additional INR 1,180 as e-service fee. Bidders not registered on Haryana Engineering Works portal needs to furnish an earnest money deposit (EMD) of INR 1.62 lakh for contractors and INR 81,000 for societies.
The last date for submission of bids in January 21, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 22, 2025.
Experience of having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works (i.e. road/bridge/building works/airport runway/PHED/IWRD works) as applicable for that type of tender during the last seven years ending last day of month previous to the one in which bids are invited.
For three similar works, each work should not cost less than 40 percent of the value of work. For two similar works, each work should not cost less than 50 percent of the value of work. For one similar work, cost must not be less than 80 percent of the value of work.
It further clarifies that the amount of works shall be updated to price level of the last financial year at the rate of 8 percent per year compounded yearly.
As for financial eligibility, minimum average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending March 31 of the previous financial year, should not be less than 30 percent of the value of work.
