Gruner Renewable Energy Signs MoU with BioEnergy Germany to Set Up India's First Napier Grass Bio CNG Plant

Gruner Renewable Energy and BioEnergy Germany signed the partnership agreement to develop 100 BioCNG plants using multiple feedstocks like Napier grass, in India. The plant is developed for APSS Adarsh Bio Agro Pvt. Ltd.

Gruner Renewable Energy announces collaboration with BioEnergy Germany to revolutionise India's energy landscape with the establishment of country's first-ever Napier grass bio CNG plant.

This state-of-the-art Napier grass bio CNG plant is scheduled to be completed in November and is coming up in Lasanpur Village, Wardha district of Maharashtra. When operational, the plant will mark a significant milestone in India's quest for cleaner and greener energy solutions.

The Napier grass bio CNG plant in Maharashtra will not only provide a clean and reliable energy source but will also promote agricultural sustainability and provide new avenues for rural development.

Talking about the project, Utkarsh Gupta, CEO, Gruner Renewable Energy said, "We are delighted to collaborate with BioEnergy Germany to introduce India's first Napier Grass Bio CNG plant. This is a crucial step towards achieving energy independence while significantly reducing our carbon footprint.
