Greencell Mobility to Deploy 1200 EV Buses Running in India

Greencell Mobility is an electric mobility platform backed by Eversource Capital, is ready to invest INR 15 billion (USD 200 million) to over twice the number of electric buses it deploys in India in the upcoming year.
The company intends to expand operations throughout the nation, with plans to deploy the supplementary of 1,200 e-buses for intra and inter-city travel and establish the essential charging infrastructure under the NueGo brand.
GreenCell Mobility has procured contracts for around 1,500 electric buses throughout 25 cities in India in the business-to-government (B2G) segment, comprising the latest agreement for 570 electric buses from the transport department of the government of NCR Delhi.
