GP Eco Solutions India Signs INR 1,000 Cr MoU with MP Govt for 7 GW Solar Manufacturing Plant

GP Eco Solutions India Ltd. has signed an MoU with the Madhya Pradesh government to invest INR 1,000 crore in developing a 5 GW solar panel and 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility by FY-2028. The announcement was made at the recently concluded Global Investors Summit – 2025 in Bhopal.

Noida-based GP Eco Solutions India Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, on February 24, 2025, at the Global Investors Summit – 2025 in Bhopal.

The MoU outlines an INR 1,000 crore investment by the end of FY-2028 to develop solar power infrastructure in the state. The company intends to set up a 5 GW solar panel manufacturing and a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing line, contributing to India's clean energy transition while creating employment opportunities for 500+ people.

The signing took place in the presence of Vijay Goel, Member of Advisory Board, GP Eco Solutions India Ltd., Astik Mani Tripathi, Promoter and Director, GP Eco Solutions India Ltd., Rakesh Shukla, Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Madhya Pradesh, Manu Srivastava, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of New and Renewable Energy and Deepak Pandey, Founder and MD, GP Eco Solutions India Ltd.

This collaboration aligns with the Government of Madhya Pradesh’s vision for renewable energy and reinforces India's sustainability goals.
