Goodman and BayWa r.e. Teams Up for Rooftop Solar Installation in Germany
Both firms will facilitate 18 MWp of solar capacity by establishing over 43.000 modules, with 6 MWp solar capacity on one roof and an additional 12 MWp solar capacity on the other.

Goodman is collaborating with BayWa r.e to install 18MWp of rooftop solar capacity at Goodman’s Marl Logistics Centre in Germany, to support power METRO LOGISTICS’ on-site operations.
With 6 MWp solar capacity on one roof and a surplus of 12 MWp solar capacity on the other, the latter is the largest single-roof solar installation in Germany to date.
Goodman is on the path to attaining its global sustainability objective of 400MWp of solar PV installed by 2025.
BayWa r.e is a renewable energy developer, service supplier, distributor and solutions provider.
Goodman Marl Logistics Centre has been space to the massive logistics hub of METRO LOGISTICS since 2017.
Both firms will facilitate 18 MWp of solar capacity by establishing over 43.000 modules, with 6 MWp solar capacity on one roof and an additional 12 MWp solar capacity on the other.
This huge-scale solar installation is due to be completed by the end of 2023.
