Goldi Solar Partners with SRK Knowledge Foundation to Solarize Village in Gujarat

Surat-headquartered solar panel maker and EPC services provider Goldi Solar has joined hands with Shree Ramkrishna Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF) for the entire solarization of Dudhala village in Southern Gujarat.

Under the partnership, the company, founded in 2011, would install 450 kW capacity of solar rooftop projects to power around 350 houses and public areas such as anganwadis and gram panchayat.

Once complete, this would be the first village to be completely powered with solar panels by a foundation, the company said in a statement.
Instead of providing financial aid, the move will empower close to 2,000 lives to earn money from the solar rooftop systems.

SRKKF is the CSR arm of Shree Ramkrishna Exports, a leading Indian diamond company. Apart from setting up renewable energy projects, the foundation will provide free wi-fi services, healthcare, medical infrastructure and service to Dudhala.

Goldi Solar client base includes several international brands in 20+ countries. The company have two facilities of 2.5 GW capacity at Pipodara and Navsari in Surat, Gujarat. Its latest module series is HELOC̣™ Pro with M10 technology and a power of 560Wp. It is also listed under ALMM (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers) and also has BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification.
