Godrej Enterprises Aims for 20 Percent Growth in Power Infra with RE Projects Expansion
Godrej Enterprises targets 20 percent growth in its Power Infra business by investing in renewable energy projects in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh, aligning with India's clean energy goals and contributing to achieving 500GW of non-fossil fuel-based power by 2030.

The Energy Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group is aiming for over 20 percent growth in the next 3-5 years by focusing on major renewable energy projects in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh.
As per the firm's statement, the company plans to drive investments in power infrastructure and clean energy solutions to support India's goal of achieving 500GW of non-fossil fuel-based power by 2030. With a growing portfolio of Extra High Voltage Power Transmission Projects and solar power infrastructure, Godrej Enterprises aims to play a crucial role in India’s energy transition, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering energy independence.

Godrej has already made significant strides in these states, commissioning a 25MW solar project in Maharashtra and executing a 765/400kV GIS substation project in Gujarat. In Madhya Pradesh, the company has completed a 12.5MWp rooftop solar installation, one of the largest in India. Additionally, Godrej has executed over 5.2MW of rooftop solar installations in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and multiple installations in Gurgaon, Haryana.
These projects highlight Godrej’s role in advancing renewable energy infrastructure in India, focusing on high-voltage substations and solar power plants to ensure efficient energy evacuation.
