Genus Power Infrastructures Wins Orders Worth INR 4,469.04 Crore

Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd.’s wholly owned subsidiary has received three Letter of Awards (LOA) worth totalling to INR 4,469.04 crore (net of taxes) for the appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs).
The contract involves the design of an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system with supply, installation and commissioning with FMS of about 5.59 million smart prepaid meters, system meters including DT Meters with corresponding energy accounting on a DBFOOT basis.
Commenting on the development, Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. said, “We are pleased to announce that Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. continues its remarkable growth trajectory with the successful securing of significant orders, further solidifying our leadership position in the smart metering sector. Over the past few weeks, we have won three major orders, cumulatively valued at INR 11,003.08 crore (net of taxes). This includes orders worth INR 2,925.52 crore (net of taxes) and INR 3,608.52 crore (net of taxes) won in the third week of August and an additional INR 4,469.04 crore (net of taxes) secured now. These achievements bring our total order book to about INR 32,500 crore (net of taxes).”
He further asserted that these concessions are for 8 to 10 years, providing clear visibility into the company's robust future growth. “These order wins underscore the strong confidence our clients place in our capabilities and the superior quality of our offerings,” he said.
The contracts encompass the full spectrum of AMI services, including the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and ongoing management of smart meters. “We remain dedicated to enhancing our operational efficiencies and expanding our capabilities to manage large-scale projects effectively. Our ongoing investments in workforce expansion and system upgrades will enable us to execute these projects with precision, maintaining our competitive edge in the industry,” added Agarwal.
