Gensol Engineering, a prominent construction engineering company clinched a contract valued at INR 301.5 crore from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd (Mahagenco).
 
This latest agreement pertains to the installation and commissioning of a state-of-the-art solar power plant.
 
In a stock exchange filing, Gensol Engineering Ltd revealed that it has won the bid for the conceptualisation, engineering, provisioning, installation, testing, and commissioning of a cutting-edge 62 MWAC crystalline solar PV technology grid interactive solar PV power plant situated in Maharashtra.
 
Gensol Engineering, a part of the Gensol group of companies, is known for its expertise in providing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the development of solar power plants. This substantial contract underscores their continued commitment to renewable energy projects in the region.
 
Furthermore, Gensol has extended its operations to the electric vehicle sector by establishing an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Pune, dedicated to the development and production of electric three-wheelers and four-wheelers.
