Gensol Engineering Limited, a company in solar power EPC services and electric mobility, has announced the successful completion of a 10.6 MWp rooftop solar project for Trident Limited in Madhya Pradesh.
This project highlights Gensol's expertise in sustainable energy solutions and accelerates Trident Limited towards its clean energy objectives.
Utilizing high-efficiency Bi-facial solar modules, carefully selected to optimize energy output and ensure long-term durability, the project exemplifies India's commitment to renewable energy targets and the development of a resilient green energy infrastructure.
With nearly 20,000 solar panels installed, this rooftop solar plant is projected to generate sufficient clean energy to offset approximately 11,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
Ali Imran Naqvi, CEO (EPC Business) of Gensol, remarked on the successful commissioning of the project, stating, “This project ranks among the top five biggest rooftop solar ventures globally, covering a rooftop area exceeding 70,000 square meters. This monumental achievement highlights Gensol's commitment to cutting-edge solutions and our capability to execute complex projects at scale. We are honored to collaborate with Trident Limited on this endeavor, positioning them as pioneers in sustainable manufacturing and setting a compelling precedent for industries worldwide."
By leveraging their expertise in design and execution, Gensol maximized the available rooftop space at Trident's Budhni plant, ensuring optimal capture and utilization of solar energy.
