Gautam Solar has partnered with Hototech China (Infusion Green’s OEM Partner) to establish a cutting-edge research and development testing laboratory in India dedicated to ensuring the reliability of photovoltaic (PV) modules.
The collaboration between the two companies aims to push the boundaries of solar technology by focusing on enhancing the efficiency and durability of PV modules. The state-of-the-art facility will be equipped with advanced testing equipment and staffed by a team of experienced researchers and engineers from both companies.
Recently, Gautam Solar also shared its plan to raise INR 1,000 crore by going public with an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the next 12 to 18 months. The funds will be used to set up a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility.
The cell manufacturing facility aligns with the Government of India’s guidelines on including solar cells in the Approved List of Models & Manufacturers (ALMM) and is designed to meet the growing demand for domestic content requirement (DCR) panels, essential for government-backed subsidy projects. This solar cell line is part of Gautam Solar’s larger strategy to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity to 5 GW by 2025.
Through these initiatives, Gautam Solar continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in India's renewable energy sector while contributing to the nation’s clean energy goals.
