GaoRun Appoints Hitesh Tungal as Vice President of Global Business

With an aim to expand global footprints, Suzhou GaoRun New Energy Technology Co. Ltd, an automatic solar photovoltaic (PV) module turnkey production line supplier, has appointed Hitesh Tungal as the Vice President of its global business, with effect from September 1, 2022.
 
The company told to Energetica India that Hitesh would be based at GaoRun headquarter in Suzhou of Jiangsu Province in China.
 
He brings with him over 14 years of experience in the solar industry in diverse roles across various locations and functions, where he has most notably been responsible for sales and services of manufacturing equipment’s for solar modules and lithium-ion batteries.
 
Prior to joining GaoRun, Hitesh was working as the Regional Director for Wuxi Lead handling global sales of the manufacturing equipment, where he was based in China. He started his career working for Applied Materials in 2008.
 
Commenting on the new appointment, Mr. Rao, Chairman of Suzhou GaoRun New Energy Technology Co. Ltd, told to Energetica India that “GaoRun in India and Globally has been steadily growing despite a challenging market environment, therefore we look forward to welcoming Hitesh to the team where he will be responsible for driving the next level of growth for GaoRun across Globe. Hitesh will be heading GaoRun’s International Business across the globe and will serve all International clients with all his knowledge and experience.”

GaoRun has supplied 12GW+ lines outside China, and India being its biggest market with 18+ lines supplied in the last 2 years. Looking at the growing demand for solar module manufacturing lines around the globe and specifically in India, Turkey, Europe, UAE and USA GaoRun has decided to open its offices in India and Turkey. GaoRun will have its dedicated service team which will be based out of India and will provide services to its global customers,” he added.
 
Currently, the company has its exclusive sales partner Cliantech Solutions in India and will continue this partnership for the Indian market along with its other representatives in the International market.
