GAIL India Invites Bids for Solar PV Projects with Net Metering in Karnataka

GAIL India Ltd. has issued a tender for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-grid rooftop solar PV systems totalling 64 kWp with net metering across five stations in Karnataka.

GAIL India Ltd. has floated a tender for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-grid rooftop solar PV plants with net metering at 5 of its stations in Karnataka totalling 64 kWp.

The scope of work includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-grid rooftop 40 kWp solar power PV system with net metering at SV-2B Bengaluru and 6 kWp solar power PV systems with net metering at IP-04 and IP-5 (Hubli base), IP-07 (Chitradurga base) and SV-5B Bengaluru.

The projects are located in Bengaluru, Tumkur, Belgaum and Bellary districts of Karnataka.

The projects must be completed within 6 months.

Bidders need to pay INR 92,000 as an earnest money deposit (EMD).

The last date for submission of bids is December 16, 2024. Techno-commercial bids will be opened on December 17, 2024.

The bidder must have successfully completed/executed work order/contract for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar power system works with net metering in the preceding 7 years from the bid due date.

For three similar work orders/contracts, the minimum work order value for each work should at least be INR 20.94 lakh.  

For two similar work orders/contracts, the minimum work order value for each work should at least be INR 26.17 lakh.

For one single work order/contract, the minimum value of the work order must be INR 41.88 lakh.
