FCT and its strategic alliance SFC Energy AG of Germany will together cooperate and manufacture the system in India with the assistance of Indian subordinate, SFC Energy India.
The order will be distributed over the next year for an initial order exceeding worth INR 140 Crores.
The system is consisting of Methanol as a fuel and is extremely dependable, lightweight, intelligent, has very low fuel utilization and has the propensity to work in extreme climatic conditions and harsh terrain.
The Indian Army and Ministry of Defence (MoD) are more and more exploratory for clean energy solutions to displace polluting fossil fuel-based energy systems like diesel generators.
