Exolar Energy has expanded its footprints to Uttarakhand under PM Surya Ghar Yojana, providing competitive and effective solar power solutions to residential and business consumers. With this expansion, Exolar Energy is now operational in 7 major cities, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, Lucknow, Dehradun, and Haridwar.
The startup is dedicated to providing solar power with government subsidies, enabling homeowners and businesses to save on electricity bills while encouraging sustainable energy.
The expansion to Uttarakhand is a strategic move to increase Exolar’s presence in North India, eventually capturing PAN India markets. The state serves as a good location for solar energy penetration with its rich sunshine, mounting need for a stable power source, and government boost to subsidies.
Many areas of the state, particularly the hilly and remote villages, face oscillations in supply of power and rely heavily upon hydroelectricity. Solar power is a good and affordable option for stable and consistent power, particularly for hybrid and off-grid systems. In addition, businesses, hotels, hospitals, and schools are increasingly turning towards solar to save money and shrink their carbon footprint.
To make solar adoption easier, Exolar Energy is investing in infrastructure, service centers, and a local sales and installation team. The startup is closely collaborating with government authorities, financial institutions, and local enterprises to offer flexible financing solutions such as EMIs and solar loans. Exolar Energy is educating customers about the advantages of solar power and facilitating the installation process through awareness drives, training facilities, and online outreach.
"Our goal is to make solar energy simple, affordable, and accessible to every household and business in Uttarakhand and eventually PAN India. With government support and our expertise, we are committed to driving the shift towards clean energy in the state and beyond," said Arvind Kumar, Director of Exolar Energy.
By venturing into Uttarakhand, Exolar Energy is not just deepening its presence in North India but also helping India achieve its clean energy goal of 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. The startup is proactively engaged in collaborations with RWAs, commercial customers, and rural development initiatives to encourage solar uptake. With innovation, customer care, and affordability in focus, Exolar Energy is set to be India's No. 1 rooftop solar company, pioneering a cleaner and more sustainable tomorrow.
